Abstract

The main programs of the Council for Science and Technology of the State of Guanajuato (CONCYTEG) which have been implemented to strength the scientific and technological capability of the state are presented. Emphasis is made on the impact of such programs. Planing the progress of such capabilities with a vision for the short, the medium and long terms requires policies for the strength and the policies for the application of such capabilities. The promote synergy among social sector, governmentand academy the establishment of nets of these actors will be required.
