Abstract
The subjective Well-being understood like the balance of positive to negative emotions and the general evaluation of the life. It seems affected by the daily experiences and the sociocultural construction that define what make us feel well and happy. Objective of the present study was to know the subjective well-being profile and the effects of municipality, gender and formal education in itself. Method: 346 EMMBSAR scales were applied in Leon, Irapuato and Celaya municipalities. Results show higher levels in positive affects components and in cognitive evaluation. We found differences between municipalities, gender and formal education in the subjective well-being. Conclusions: Social especifics of municipalities, to be woman and low educational levels, are determinants of the subjective well-being.
